Do you own a plot of land where a black dump was created almost overnight? Then immediately report the dump to the municipality with extended jurisdiction<\/b>. This is an illegal activity for which the creator of the landfill can be fined up to CZK 50,000 and you can be fined up to CZK 100,000 for failing to report it.<\/p>\n

Black dumps most often grow near fields, forests or on land near sparsely inhabited cottages or properties<\/b>. Just the first bag of rubbish, to which someone else throws in a rolled-up old carpet and broken electrical appliances. Others dump their tires and add a few containers of oil, paint, varnish… Black dumps can contaminate drinking water sources, but they can also catch fire<\/b> and cause significant property damage.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

If you as a municipality fail to find the culprit<\/b>, which is common in the case of avalanche dumps, and the landowner refuses to remove the dump at his own expense, it is up to you as a municipality to have the dump removed.<\/p>\n

However, we do not recommend that you go it alone, call in the experts with the right equipment<\/b> and experience. You risk damage to your health from toxic fumes and contaminated soil.
